From entertaining family and friends to extending your living space, timber decking is a great addition to any home. With our premium timber, you can create a space that not only looks attractive, but stands the test of time.

Timber Decking

With a huge range of sizes, tones and timbers, there is sure to be a decking option that matches your project, personal taste and lifestyle.

From a natural weathered look to an oil or stain that retains the timbers colours and features, we supply a range of species and timber profiles.

Timber Decking Species

To ensure you have access to the best timber for your project, we supply a huge range of different hardwood species. Whether you’re looking for the increasingly popular Merbau timber or the versatile treated pine, we have it all. For an Australian hardwood, consider Ironbark or Spotted Gum – both of which are popular for their colour and longevity. Or, if you’re looking for a timber that is suitable for bushfire prone areas, Silvertop Ash or Blackbutt Decking is an excellent choice.

Decking Accessories

To improve the longevity and appearance of your deck, decking accessories are a must! We stock a huge range of hardware, all in one space. Invest in oils and stains for a stunning finish, or make a feature of your deck fixings with stainless steel or galvanised steel screws. We also stock Protecta Deck, which is critical for bearings and joints under pressure!

FAQ

Should I choose hardwood or treated pine timber decking?

When it comes to creating an outdoor space to complement your home and your lifestyle, the choice is yours! Treaded pine is an excellent choice for an affordable and durable deck that stands the test of time – with a preservative treatment it will resist fungal and termite attacks, and it’s lightweight and easy to handle.

For a luxurious finish, you can’t go past hardwood. With a huge range of species, you can easily find a colour and texture that suits your home, from light ashes and blondes, to deep reds and rich browns.

How do I know which timber will suit my home?

One of the best ways to ensure your new timber decking suits your or your client’s home is by using the same – or similar – materials to those found throughout your home. For example, if you have a Spotted Gum pergola, then using that species for your decking is a great idea. Alternatively, if your home features exposed Blackbutt beams, then choosing Blackbutt again is an excellent way to draw elements of your interior into the rest of your property.
